I loved Blackout, well loved. Before, I had no time for Britney or its various incarnations. The Mouseketeer Lolita who gave us "blow me ..." It draws a league of women to wear skirts in schools and clubs that make hand-to-head-hair-film-dance move laterally. The petulant womanager that gave us the anemic demand for respect for "Overprotected" and "My Prerogative." Not even his desperate pursuit of the clod-hopping genre "I Love Rock'n'Roll" and "Me against the music" gave me even the smallest of fucks. The only time I have paid all the attention was "Slave 4 U" and "toxic." Apart from these two tracks Britney murderer had never produced anything any bite, no matter how many purrs, mewls vocal hiccups or she uses to disguise his limited range.

Then, after his well-documented descent, is back with "Gimme More," a grinding electro Dirge in a slightly too slow BPM really classify as a dance jam, sapped his voice dry and his usual affectations. Seriously, Gray: I deleted after Hot Chip "Over & Over" and saw people go crazy-mono. Best, for Blackout, not once. Stuttering "Piece of Me", the thrum of "Heaven on earth" and defiantly stupid R & B "Get Naked" is oddly flat vocodored boasted voice. That could otherwise be apathetic artist, but after the race and Brit hiccups and giggles autotunes sounded revolutionary. It seems, in retrospect, that Britney + Producer - Britneyisms makes for a great formula. Even the title, Blackout, suggested that, in his fame, had been doused stupor reached safely without actually being there. It was the equivalent of peach album, but nothing to drink aguardiente for twelve hours and wake up at home, in the same bed without having fouled, he lost his wallet or something fucking sad. Although the rose "So What" wins the prize for the most narcissistic alienatingly song of the year, "Kill The Lights" is awfully close. "Is that money in your pocket or are happy to see me?" Britney GOOS. True, you could argue that "Piece of Me" has exactly the same feeling, but while that song was released with a light-off, "kill the lights" comes with Gusto. "I do not give a damn what you think of me" is very difficult to think of someone trying so hard, and Britney, if nothing else, it has worked. There's a song called "If U Seek Amy." Was "See you next Tuesday" already taken by Fred Durst or something?

So, Britney is back with a new anti-Midas touch. In recent years he has focused and fucking her personal life.
