Where to go after one album sold about 7 million copies and remains in an elevated position in the charts over a year? If you're Nickelback, which in turn, a veteran producer of punch to your sound, but otherwise stick to the formula. Robert John "Mutt" Lange, a veteran producer of acts ranging from a Def Leppard Shania Twain, assumed command of torque rights here. Their big sound is the proper scenario for Nickelback.
As I have to be someone "Boots, ambient synthesizer and voices are heard rather than just the guitar-rock crunch. The overall effect is to give Nickelback a brilliant feeling and a wider dynamic range. The results are good and even catchier as the singalong chorus, and this does not sound exactly like other songs Nickelback.
However, the main drawback of Nickelback is that so many of their songs are ultimately forgettable. The lyrics here are blandly reassuring that has no experience of loneliness forever. "I have to be someone" for the fans in the long term, responding to some critics who say Nickelback songs are all the same, but ultimately, you can forget the song that fades shortly after the graphics.
